What's your favorite thing about the holidays? Least favorite?
I LOVE THE LIGHTS AND THE DECOR! It gives me a happy feeling whenever I pass by houses and buildings all lit up in the evening. I also love how cooler it is during this time of the year.
Least favorite has got to be the crowd in the malls. Then again in the PI malls are normally crowded no matter what time of the year.
What's the longest you've ever waited in line?
An hour and a half just to buy tickets for a local film and The Time Traveller's Wife. The longest wait of my life!
If you could be fluent in any language (that you don't currently read or speak), which one would it be?
German. I love how it sounds.
Hello, dear Vox neighborhood. You have been sorely neglected and I hope you'll forgive me.
It's just that real life has been at me and my main blog and Facebook have taken up my attention. That is, attention beyond homeschooling, learning how to use my DSLR, cooking, etc.
You know how that goes, right?
So I've been blogging over here lately:
I still talk about my faith, family and food but my knitting seems to have been put on the back burner for a little bit. Once Babette is out of the way, I'll pull my needles out again.
It'd be nice if you paid me a visit!
What's your favorite memory from the summer of '09?
Summer '09 came and went and I did not do anything! I did not take PTO, I did not even go to the beach!
You must think I'm really boring now.
But I am not. I promise.
Awww, I love kittehs!
Beyond what is comfortable
Progress is made by doing what you have not done before. To truly grow stronger, you must step beyond what is comfortable and familiar.
Just outside your door is a whole wonderful world of new possibilities. And with those new possibilities come new and difficult challenges.
Go ahead, and have the courage to open that door and to step outside your comfort zone. For though the challenges are many, the rewards are more valuable than you can imagine.
You are designed and equipped and intended for great things. You are flexible and adaptable and creative and intelligent enough to successfully handle whatever you encounter.
Beyond the comfort of what you already know, you'll find the wonder and magnificence of all you can become. Go explore and fulfill the very best possibilities.

Too bad it's not until 2010. I want to see it NAO!
Hmmm.. is there more than one "official" trailer? The one I saw earlier didn't start with the scene that this one did. Oh well, I don't care. But I do want to see the movie NAO!
